After being home for 36 hours, refilled the cupboards with food & caught up with laundry it is time to commence work again. (Although am taking a couple of hours out to catch up with my other grand children later this morning.) I guess I will also take time out to sit with my mother this afternoon and watch the Hawthorn v Fremantle AFL grand final later today too. I have actually organised some nice nibbles for afternoon tea and I might even open a bottle of Moscato.
My main focus for the remainder of the year will be CHRISTMAS. I love, love, love Christmas. The preparation, buying / making gifts, cards, cooking, & get-togethers. There are always difficulties with who is going where and when are we going to see x,y & z. The juggling of trying to keep every one happy is a challenge but never impossible.
To get started on my planning I am going to work out a timeline and each week cover the tasks on that line. My aim is that come 24 December we shall be all organised and Christmas Day will run smoothly. The best way to achieve this time line will be to work backwards from Christmas Day. (So please give me a couple of days to work on this and I hope that magically it will all work well.)
I have completed making hundreds of Christmas Cards, and am nearly finished making the gifts for all the females in the family, (not immediate family), also have ordered part gifts for my three beautiful grand daughters. So, am quite pleased with activities so far.
So keep watching this site for many types of activities and comments over the next 3 months.
Enjoy your weekend and I hope your team wins. (I am not sure who I would like to win so far)
