Holidays

I am heading down to Goolwa for a couple of days and am thrilled.  I love being anywhere near water, HATE going in the water though.  Goolwa, Pt Elliott & Victor Harbor are so lovely and relaxing.
Intend starting the day down at Victor where I may look in a couple of shops, have a light lunch by the beach, stock up on a few supplies before heading to Goolwa. Am staying in the Goolwa Central Motel which I obtained through a Travel Auction, (as always)

From here I shall meander out each day hoping to catch the sight of a whale or two and plenty of pelicans.  One of my grandchildren is coming down for the day and we have already discussed looking for pelicans, she is actually the most interested grandchild I have in my collection and sighting of this magnificent bird.  They are usually aplenty down at Goolwa and I shall be hoping so on this visit.
Due to mobility my days will be fairly regimented which means I will potter out looking in shops and galleries in the morning, then have a quiet lunch out and gradually make my way back to the motel in the early afternoon where I will need to put my legs up and sadly have to cross stitch or read or update this page etc.  Sounds sad doesn't it...I can hardly wait!!!!  Dinner is usually a cup of soup & toast or a small savoury plate of olives, cheese etc.
This is as much planning as I have done so far, so for more information you will have to check in each day to see where I have been and what have I achieved in that day.
Talk soon.
