HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to ALL Mothers & caregivers.

However, I can never understand why we need a day to appreciate someone.  We should be showing this same appreciation all year round.   That is not to say that I am not going to make the most of it all and enjoy my family and to try and spoil my mother.

I am seeing my son, daughter in law and their 4 beautiful children this morning, and my daughter, her husband and darling daughter are coming to lunch and she is bringing the main course.  I am making a salad and gluten free scones for dessert (with jam and cream).  My son in law will be so happy.  He is a delight to feed, just keeps going and going.  I love people who can eat & appreciate the effort you have made with the cooking.  My biggest frustration when cooking for people is when they are fussy eaters, (don't like that!!), eat little, on trendy diets (health reasons are ok & I will cook accordingly - hence gluten free).

Recipe and photos of scones tomorrow Folks.  It is Mothers Day, and I am going to put the first batch of regular scones in the oven.  The gluten free will go in a little later.
have a great day every one.
